Psalm 151

A Psalm of the Resilient Heart

O Lord, You have seen my silent cries,
The ache of a child unheard and unseen.
I wandered the halls of my own soul,
Longing for love, for a place to belong.

My mother’s voice echoed like a shadow,
Present, yet distant — a ghost of embrace.
I stretched my hands toward her heart,
But found only walls I could not break.

Yet You, O God, are the Father I lacked,
The Mother who gathers me close to Your chest.
When I wept in the corners of my loneliness,
Your presence became my refuge, my rest.

You taught me the language of healing,
Replacing despair with whispers of grace.
You turned my mourning into a melody,
A song of redemption, a radiant place.

I once carried the weight of rejection,
A burden too heavy for fragile bones.
But You lifted me with hands of mercy,
And called me beloved, called me Your own.

Now I walk through fields of forgiveness,
Planting seeds where bitterness grew.
I release the chains of my childish sorrow,
For I am made whole, made new in You.

The scars I bear are marks of endurance,
Testimonies of how far I have come.
Though I was shaped by absence and silence,
I am defined by the love I’ve become.

Praise be to the God who restores the broken,
Who gathers the lost and breathes them to life.
My soul sings of freedom, of hope overflowing —
For I am no longer a prisoner of strife.

Amen.
